Support Our Mission

We believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.  We know that when people have a home of their own, not only do they thrive, but the community thrives.  Your support helps make the difference for so many throughout the region.  Because of you, we are able to serve more than 12,000 households across Southern Massachusetts each year. Thank you for continuing to answer the call for help.

For more ways you can support our mission, contact Serenity Belo, Director of Resource Development at sbelo@nhsmass.org.

By you investing in us, you can receive a Massachusetts State tax credit of up to 50%!

How it works!

  • The Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC) provides a 50% tax credit against Commonwealth of Massachusetts tax liability. The CITC program is a refundable tax credit.
  • When you donate $1000 or more in the given tax year, your FULL gift comes to us to support the work we do. Complete a simple online form with your donation information before you file your file your STATE taxes and receive a 50% tax CREDIT back to you based on the amount of your donation.

Your benefits:

  • Considerable Tax Credit
  • Both individuals and corporations can take advantage of the tax credit
  • Excess tax credit is refundable (ie: if you do not owe state taxes, you will receive your credit in the form of a refund)
